Support the conservation of birds and their habitats in the Somali Horn

The Somali Horn comprises biodiversity hotspots with several endemic species of birds as well as some iconic ones such as the Somali Ostrich. But, the birds of the region are not well known and their habitats are fast disappearing due to, among other things, lack of knowledge about them. There is a need for activities that raise awareness and develop interest in birds and the conservation of their habitats in the region. You can support this initiative directly by donating using the information in this page. All proceeds will go to activities that support conservation of birds and their habitats. This includes, but is not limited to, programs to train new birders, conducting surveys, purchasing field guides and equipment such as binoculars and telescopes to donate to local conservation organizations.

What does a donation get you?
