Lindängelund

The history of this green recreational area in the southern parts of Malmö dates back to the year 2000 when Malmö residents planted a thousand trees on a former agricultural area to commemorate the new millennium. The reasons were many and often deeply personal, but common to all was the desire to lay the foundation for a new green oasis in the city. Birds that have been recorded here include Red-necked Grebe / Gråhakedopping, Little Grebe / Smådopping, Common Buzzard / Ormvråk, Red Kite / Röd Glada, Common Kestrel / Tornfalk, Marsh Warbler / Kärrsångare, Thrush Nightingale / Näktergal , Northern Wheatear / Stenskvätta, Lesser Black-backed Gull / Silltrut, Oystercatcher / Strandskata.
